ABOUT HIROSHI SATO
Hiroshi Sato (born 1987 Japan) is a San Francisco based painter focused on contemporary realism. Best known for contemplative figures in lush interior environments, Sato draws from influences from past and present artists including Vermeer, Degas, Andrew Wyeth, Hopper and Chuck Close. His interest in the geometric design principles of the old masters is explored through his unique style that creates the simultaneous illusion of form and flatness in space. His aim is to portray, and better understand our various states of consciousness within ourselves through the visual medium.
Works above 35 inches in length/sculpture/or highly fragile items must be shipped in a wooden crate. If you have purchased an item requiring crating a member of our team will contact you with a quote.
