ABOUT THIS PIECE
When asked to ponder the concept of GRATITUDE I thought about creating a marble boomerang. Boomerangs are historical pieces in my work. The only ones I've done so far are etched insults. They talk about the chain of violence and how what you do is returned. Also how certain words or phrases turn into actions immediately by saying them, such as insults or curses. In this case I thought about doing one of these boomerangs but with the word AMOR. May the love you give, come back to you.
