ABOUT AMBER ROSE

Amber Adela Rose is an interdisciplinary anglo-salvadoran artist, working primarily in painting and drawing to approach ideas surrounding geographical identity, emotional attachment, and displacement, particularly through landscapes that possess a keen sense of wit and stark compositional design.

Studied at The Slade School of Fine Art London, 1999-2001. Winner of First Prize XXV Palmarés Painting Prize, El Salvador (2010) and Honorable Mention at SUMARTE, MARTE, El Salvador (2011, 2010).

She currently lives and works in Portugal.
